Yes, the fall is our busy season and it's already in full swing.
Every fall, we have customers in a rush...it's usually a week or so after kids go back to school. They are out of the house (or in school...pending on their age), summer is over, and now it's time to get busy. Time to put those plans into action. Time to fix up your Westchester home before the holidays.
On Tues, we got a flood of calls and emails. Many are booking appointments (I was very busy this week and almost fully booked for next week); others are placing orders, and others are coming out of the wood works and now want to get restarted. (I have a few from the summer who now want to move, but in a different direction and upgrade the flooring; and I even have 1 from 2 years ago who now needs updated estimates).
Usually, it's another week before we are in full fledged busy mode, but this started a bit early this year. (maybe because Labor Day is earlier and maybe because the economy is improving slightly).
I'm up to my eyeballs in catch up mode and we are trying to train a new person, since believe me, we can use the help.
I may be a bit more absent from Active Rain, but I will still be here. Commenting will prob. go down and several posts may be more in maintenance mode and I will prob. need to forego most contests. Please bear with me. I will be back in full swing by end November.
