Lake Marble Falls Texas-Closing Out Summertime

Marble Falls Texas is a bit over an hour north of San Antonio. Lake Marble Falls is fed by the Colorado River and is one of the reservoirs on this river. Now Lake Marble Falls will never be confused with any of the largest lakesjet skiing on Lake Marble Falls TX, iheart-sa.com in the state. But most any size body of water is appreciated in this part of the state because of temperatures and relative lack of water.

Travel east from Lake Marble Falls and you will find Lake LBJ. And if you go east, you'll connect with Lake Travis. While summer is almost over, we'll have nice enough weather to enjoy boating and water sports for several more weeks in the hill country and South Texas Plains.

Wayne - I really enjoyed learning more about Lake Marble Falls north of San Antonio, Texas.  September and October can be a great time to spend some time at a lake.  No crowds, and great fall temperatures!

Wayne: Must agree Lake Marble Falls in The Texas Hill Country is unique and tucked away in a nice area. We have had cooler weather over the weekend, perfect weather for boating or just take a ride up through The Hill Country of Texas.

Have a nice week, happy selling!

Alan-Thanks for commenting.

Laura-I agree, September and October are still great months for outdoor activities in our area. Still warm enough for water activities and certainly not as hot as summertime.

Carl-Marble Falls is far enough away from San Antonio to get close to the Hill Country without being a long drive. Yep, past weekend was a real change in temp. I hope you have a good week.

Jerry-In a bit over an hour you can get there from SA. Thanks.

Michael-Yes, not very hard to get to this lake from SA.

Good Evening Wayne:

Guess Marble Falls has been overshadowed by San Antonio.  You have definitely done a good job introducing it to us.  The beautiful lake and green vegetation make it even mode desiirable.
