Lake Marble Falls Texas-Closing Out Summertime
Marble Falls Texas is a bit over an hour north of San Antonio. Lake Marble Falls is fed by the Colorado River and is one of the reservoirs on this river. Now Lake Marble Falls will never be confused with any of the largest lakes in the state. But most any size body of water is appreciated in this part of the state because of temperatures and relative lack of water.
Travel east from Lake Marble Falls and you will find Lake LBJ. And if you go east, you'll connect with Lake Travis. While summer is almost over, we'll have nice enough weather to enjoy boating and water sports for several more weeks in the hill country and South Texas Plains.
