Subdivisions and Neighborhoods in Lake Bluff – Shore Acres Subdivision
The Shore Acres Subdivision is northern most subdivision of Lake Bluff along Lake Michigan. It is north of Crab Tree Farm and East Lake Bluff. Arden Shores Estates is to the west of Shore Acres but you cannot enter Arden Shores Estates from Sheridan Road, as a result Shore Acres is very private and somewhat isolated. This Lake Bluff subdivision is very upscale and has several homes with their own private beach on Lake Michigan. You enter Shore Acres by turning east off of Sheridan Road. Shore Acres gets its name from the Shore Acres Country club and Shore Acres Golf Course which is at the center of this community.
Note: The red line shows the border for the Village of Lake Bluff. Lake Bluff has a large number of subdivisions and neighborhoods because of the age of the city and the way the city grew over time. The blue lines show the location of each of the many subdivisions, neighborhoods and new build areas. Of course, the yellow highlighted area is for the Shore Acres Subdivision.
