 Move Past Your Mistakes

What to do with a mistake – recognize it, admit it,

learn from it, forget it.”

Dean Smith, basketball coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Move past your mistakes

Mistakes are the tolls you pay on your success journey in order to reach your destination.

A mistake can be looked at as a learning experience that contributes to your long term success or it can become a weight on your shoulders that pulls you down. Whatever you do with a mistakes becomes your choice.

Indentify your mistakes and what caused them to occur. Determine what happen and why they happened. When you do you put them into prospective and you will be able to use them as learning experience.

Move pass the mistake focus on the future and find a way not to repeat the mistake in the future.

You can admit to your mistakes and grow from the experience or you can be in a state of denial and be destined to repeat them.

You can carry them around with you to the point of exhaustion or you can move pass your mistakes and forget them.

Mistakes are the tolls you pay on your success journey. Pay them once and use them a learning experience and move pass them and keep moving forward.

Move past your mistakes . . . . And don’t look back; keep your eyes focused on the future.

Great advise! We have all made mistakes along the way and we have to move on if we want to succeed. The "tolls" are like tuition fees and in the end hopefully we learn something from them.

Lou-this is such good advice.  I think so many of us hang on too long or don't recognize it at all.

I would add to forget the part that makes you less productive snd remember the part of the mistake that motivates you to do better.
