Speechless Sundays: Something is Amiss Here

My mother managed a 7/11 at one time, though she said it was very demanding and exhausting, she also thought it was rewarding and challenging.
What is it? No cars? Is 7-eleven closed? I know the couple is wearing white after Labor Day-scandaless!
Hi Phil,
I'm guess the cars are a miss-ing! And maybe an open sign!
Have a great week!
Good morning Phil. I'll bite. No cars in the lot and the couple doesn't look happy? I hope you'll tell us. Be good, be well.
Let's see: the Red Box; the Blockbuster box; it's raining and nobody has an umbrella; the large mercurylights at each corner of the metal roof; the voter registration table; Girl Scouts selling cookies, competing with the voter registration table for the best spot; the wino with the paper bag laying on the corner; the sign in the window advertising the latest, greatest lottery; the camera watching the gasoline pumps; the sign saying "pay before pumping gas"; the window cleaner asking for a tip; the ice machine; the sign saying to get your flu shots here; the sign saying get your shingles shots here; a cashier; the sign saying "open 24 hours"; the sign saying "no shirt, no shoes, no service"; the various construction "professionals" waiting to work on peoples' houses; the builder trucks and vans picking up the various construction "professionals" waiting to work on peoples' houses; the greeter with the Smiley Face stickers.
Am I close?
OH WAIT! You said "amiss," not "missing." My bad.
The couple is dancing but there's no music!
There, nailed it.
They moved the ActiveRain Meet-Up to a different location and no one notified you or these other two members in the photo. That's it, right?
Phil, It's been a long time since I've been in one of these! They don't have them in our area, so some other local brands have the gap filled. Frankly they'd be hard pressed to come in this area and knock off the locals.
Looks like it is closed, not something you'd expect out of a 7-eleven. Always enjoy your posts Phil!
Hi Phil - I was guessing too...didn't realize ... Meanwhile a BIG BIG CONGRATS to you ! I hear you are expecting a joyful addition..
I didn't know there was an addition expected to the family! I hope you are considering JAY for the name.
Or JAYE if female...
Super name, 'tis!
I always wondered why 7-11's had locks on the doors since they are open 24/7. Now I know why. I don't think I have ever seen one closed.
I was slow to ponder a right answer for it. I thought the lights were off on the 7/11, but the neon lights made me wonder if it was actually closed! When you said something was "amiss." It thought the elderly lady may have never married:-)
Hey, Phil. It took a few minutes to figure this one out. They are mostly 24/7 around here, too.
It doesn't look like any 7-11 I've ever seen before on Long Island. #6 outdid himself.
You sure had people going with this one!
When a 24-hour a day store is closed, you have to wonder, what's going on???
