Taking A Long Weekend Off & Out of Ocean City, New Jersey

The rental season for 2012 began in mid-May, and I have been on our barrier island since that time (except for short trips to the mainland for groceries, a bit of quick shopping, and maybe a dinner out).  Of course, the summer isn't great for traveling anywhere due to the traffic and crowds.  And it can be exhausting trying to hit the AC Expressway or the Garden State Parkway at any time over the weekend.

As a real estate agent, it is never a good time to leave a second home community on the weekend.  Just too much business is up and around the town every weekend.  But once in awhile, you need a break.  So I took one this weekend returning to our Lancaster County stumping grounds, doing some outlet shopping, having a dinner out, staying with close friends in Elizabethtown (PA), and just relaxing a bit.

Now I'm back and ready to work again because this is the opening time frame for our "Fall Buying Period."

However, it is always interesting and amazing how refreshed one is after just a short change in your dailing activities.  I did take my iPad along so I kept up-to-date on my emails and phone calls.  But overall, I return to Ocean City with a lot of renewed energy and a desire to hit the mats again.

I plan to be at 824 St James Place in the NORTHEND section of Ocean City ... just drive in on 9th Street, turn left of Atlantic Avenue and catch St James Place a block beyond First Street.  OPEN HOUSE on both Saturday and Sunday usually from about 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.  Hope you can make it this weekend ... and plan to use the trip to Ocean City (NJ) as a break from your normal weekend activities just like I did this past weekend.

Dustin, sometimes you just need a short break to rev up the engine again.
