A Walk Through My Morris County NJ Garden

A Walk Through My Morris County, NJ Garden...

As fall arrives it won’t be long before the first frost arrives taking with it summer’s profusion of flowers. Yesterday I spent some time photographing my garden so in the dead of winter I can revisit the abundance of life that dwells in my yard.

While I will miss my gardens, it nice to take a break from the long hours of weeding, deadheading, fertilizing, mulching, watering and treating all kinds of beetles and fungus from such a wet summer.

Gardening is not for the faint of heart – it doesn’t grow on its own and requires daily care. However, the payback is splendid…

Kristine - Such a pretty garden.  I'm afraid I haven't got a green thumb and in fact, I can't seem to get past the weeding stage.  I even had blackberry bushes sprouting in my garden this year.  I think I'm done for!

Kristine - It is always a gift to visit your blog with wonderful pictures.  These are a welcome sight for sore eyes. I tried selecting just one of the photos as a favorite; but alas, I could not.  They are all so very special!

Kristine, quite a colorful flower garden, and TRUE, they do need attention.    Our flowers are starting to wane with the overnight lows dipping below 50.

Hi Kristine, Your flowers are beautiful but I think I like the last one the best. This red flower is so unusual . Do you know what kind of flower it is?

Thank you everyone for your kind comments and taking a stroll through my garden. I appreciate everyone who stops by my blog and will try and catch up and visit you over the next day or two. Work has never been busier - so much for "houses aren't selling", lol. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and look forward to stopping by your blog!

Hello Kristine-What a gorgeous garden. I understand about the continual weeding etc. It is a LOT of work but the beauty is the wonderful reward.
