One of my sellers just repainted the kitchen one shade lighter and it really made a big difference. It grabbed a different color in the granite counter tops in the kitchen and wow! The whole room popped. This was so inexpensive that I'm going to show another seller and see if they can do the same thing. And something so simple as changing the color and season of the blooms you decorate with change the whole look, too. My daughter loves the Fall. Maybe because we live in South Florida and the color of the palm tree leaves don't change. She likes to put the fall colors out and if you take a picture of the before and after, it really does mess with the eye. I love that!
Here's another cheap trick . . . .you know those light blankets we throw on the couch? Get another one in a different color or design. Pack the original away. Look what you did. You changed the living room. That and change a couple plants around and people will think you redecorated.
Another seller of mine didn't like the boxy look of her dresser drawers so I hung a mirror with a curvy silhouette over them and it gave it a shapelier look. She is amazed that it didn't drain her wallet to change the whole thing.
This list goes on and on. It's easy peasy. And fun. Especially if you have a little change left over to go out and grab a movie or some sushi.
