Are they cuter while sleeping?

AHHHH..... Cute you say? I can promise you this is only a short break. We have a very active household, do not let this picture fool you. By circumstance after almost 10 years we ended up with two puppies again. Not one but two!!

Two means twice the mess. Twice the number wee wee spots and twice the amount of shredded STUFF. I mean they can find it all. Yesterday it was paper clips, staples, and push pins. I don't even know where it came from. They can find the oddest items. I swear they found the abyss that the dryer empties into because they come up with socks that I haven't seen in ages.

What one has - the other one wants. It can be the same treat, but the other is always better.

I just wanted to give all my friends a heads up. Buy your stock today because tomorrow we are off to purchase another case of assorted raw hides and chew toys. Besides- how long can this last? For now I will be grateful that they are also cute when they are awake.

Too funny Dione!  I remember those puppy days.  Its been a while though, the last of my nine is now 15!  While I would love to have that headache again, my goal after I am "dogless" for a while, is to adopt old dogs no one wants.  But puppies, oh my, how much more dear can a creature be!

They are too adorable. Even so, I don't think I want to be in your shoes. They've got to be a handful. But they are cute!

In my adult life I was only brave enough to do the "puppy" thing once.  Yes, they are the cutest thing in the world, but.....  I had a high energy english springer living in a house full of laid back, low energy people.  Didn't work so great.  She ate everything!  She literally ate a couch, my shoes, underwear, socks, table legs - Anything that was lower than 5 feet was considered snack food.  A purple ink pen was left on the bathroom vanity.  When I got home I had a purple toilet, vinyl, living room carpet and what remained of the couch and throw plus a purple dog.  The kids in the neighborhood thought a purple dog was cool but it was a 4 week reminder of how mad I was.  Before we were forced to completely refurnish our home we decided she needed a new place to live.  She went to live with a very nice young man with lots of room to run and hunt.  We all lived happily ever after.

Later we adopted a 2 year old pound puppy.  He was a very faithful and loving companion for almost 15 more years.  Like Terry, I'll stick with the more mature pooches when I decide to put my heart back on the line.

Good Luck with those adorable babies.

Awww.  So cute.  Send them over to my house.  I have dozens of un-matched socks that my husband won't let me toss.  He say that one day their mates will be found.  haha

Jeff-  Thank you.

Diane- I think it is like kids with boxes, sometimes it is more fun then what came in it.

Terry- There is always one who needs a home.

Jim- I can let you try them out if you want. :)

Rita- I have this great visual of a purple pooch.

Nancy- Maybe one day, we can hope.

Gayle- Some days I wonder.  It is hard to be frustrated for long.

Jennifer- We do crate but it is a full time job but worth it.

Dione, They are cute.  But the best part of a dog is no matter how bad your day has gone, no matter what your clients said, did or thought, no matter how low you feel, they are always there to greet you with unconditional love.

Last December, I adopted an older dog (we think she is seven) from the North Texas Irish Setter Rescue.  Other than having a very loud bark/howl, she is great.  No messes in the house!  She loves to go with me in the car and call on certain clients.  And, best of all, I have yet to not have her there wagging her tail when I need that pick me up.

Too darn cute. I am currently laying next to my three puppies all under the aget of 15 months. You think two are a mess...oh my...three makes two like neat and tidy anglels! As I am cleaning on pile of torn tissues and putting one in a time out the other two are tearing through the house with my robe tie following behind them. Thank goodness they are so cute or I just couldn't take it! Kym
