River rock accents, windows, doors, shingled exteriors, wide eaves and lighting reminiscent of the era combine with more modern finishes such as open floor plans and high ceilings, kitchens opening to family areas, clerestory and abundant windows.   Indoor-outdoor living is highlighted in each of the homes as well.   Modern conveniences such as two car attached garages, laundry connections and central heat and air conditioning are just some of the features in these two and three bedroom homes.

California Rose Court -- Craftsman Inspired Architecture in Pasadena

California Rose Court is located in the Northeast area within the city of Pasadena.  This highly convenient location is just north of Pasadena High School, Victory Park, the 210(Foothill Freeway) and the Sierra Madre Villa Gold Line station.   There are many shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural venues nearby.

Hi Sharon -- California Rose Court offers the best of both worlds -- California Craftsman architecture and open floor plans and high ceilings for a very modern feel.

Hi Dick -- thanks very much.  Actually our area is comprised mostly of single family homes in neighborhoods that have developed over the years, tract developments are pretty rare in Pasadena but are more common in Los Angeles County communities to the north and east.   There's something for everyone in Southern California.

Joy -- for you, no problem.  Thanks for your kind comment.

Roger -- the setting for California Rose Court is very close to the San Gabriel Mountains so many of the properties have some very nice views.

Good evening Michael,

I really like the sounds of California Rose Court Community living. The plans sound great and the exterior and open living space really appeals to me personally. I'll agree with Roger... I'm sold.

Michael I have always loved California Craftsman, in my opinion one of the best designed homes! I have never seen Condominiums or Townhomes inspired by California Craftsman. I would love to live in Roes Court! The prices are reasonable too for Los Angeles Standards!

John -- the floor plans and community aspects of California Rose Court have always been popular.

Endre -- and for those who choose to live in the development --- the floats from the Rose Parade are on display on Sierra Madre and Washington Blvds not far from Rose Court for a couple days after the big New Years' event.

Ooooh, Michael Jacobs, you know I love Craftsman architecture.  California Rose Court looks divine.  I love Ardmore House, but this looks just as wonderful.  Pasadena is a wonderful place to live!

Morgan -- many find the typical Craftsman home a bit dark so this interpretation of the style has been quite popular.

Laura -- for those who want a bit of a yard and in a more suburban setting California Rose Court may just be the place.

Suzanne -- this is a very different location than South Orange Grove but isn't it great to have choices?

Patricia -- thanks so much for stopping by and your very nice comments.
