I am training a fabulous friend of mine to help me part time with office stuff, and we had a hell of a week trying to save a few sellers from foreclosure and get the Trustee Sale dates postponed.  It seems to be getting more challenging lately....my only guess is that the banks understand that the Phoenix, AZ real estate market is recovering with leaps and bounds.  Values have increased over 40% in the past year alone, and our inventory levels are ridiculously low.  Translation? It may be more profitable in many cases for the bank to foreclose. Jessica: I am a fan of short sales but it takes a lot of work and, as you said, don't give up. Find out when they start work, I found that some negotiators start a 7 AM and quit at 3 PM. So I'm on the phone right at 7!

I give you all the credit in the world and you deserve a lot of praise for working short sale deals. They are ver frustrating and a challenge for my buyers not sure I could want to be in your shoes though! Go get em!!

Unfortunately, for the past few years, if you didn't work short sales or REO's, you probably starved LOL.  I have been working them since 2008 and honestly, I enjoy being on the side of the little guy, going up against the almighty bank.  It's a rush when that approval letter comes over!  Don't get me wrong....I'll take a traditional seller any day of the week, but....
