How to Be More Productive in the 4th Quarter - Real Estate Tools

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Broadpoint Properties Cal BRE #01324959

real estate toolsHaving just returned from the Inman Real Estate Connect Conference about six weeks ago and knowing that your productivity and technology domination is the key to our mutual success, I've got some tools to share. (Yes, they may be familiar to some of you.

Check out these great apps that will help you be more productive than ever:

Dropbox If you are not using Dropbox yet, you do not know what you are missing. Imagine a huge box in cyberspace where you can dump your stuff and then pick it up later—from another computer, from your mobile phone, from your tablet. In fact, you can even share folders with friends (and enemies). (Also, it’s free.)

Evernote Evernote will make you want to go paperless in everything that you do. It’s an online storage and note system for just about anything—receipts, pdfs, notes. And, you can also access the itmes you store in Evernote from your phone, your tablet or any computer anywhere in the world. I just got back from Vegas. Saved the hotel confirmation and all the receipts for all my purchases in Evernote. Guess how many were tagged with the name Louis Vuitton? (By the way, it’s free.)

Notability Yes, you can bring your iPad to a meeting and actually take notes effectively. With Notablity, you can even record the meeting, insert images, type your notes or use a stylus—whatever you prefer. This will be the best 99 cents that you have ever spent!

There’s lots going on in the field of real estate these days. And, if you are actively working in real estate everyday, it’s important to keep up with all of the new productivity tools in the industry. Sometimes that’s hard, which is why we’ve provided you with an update right here.

I routinely use the first two but have not embraced Notability yet. Why do you like that over Evernote for class notes?

I've got Dropbox and Evernote but I can't quite get the hang of Evernote. It's not really intuitive for me but it could also be that my brain isn't wired that way, not to mention, I refuse to read directions.
