MY NEW BABY BUMBLE BEE

By
Real Estate Agent with Gladstone Group & Long Island Business Brokerage 10311202691

Okay, I drove a top model Lexus for 3 years...went on to an S Type Jag for a year and a half, but am now the proud Mom of 40 MPG!!!!!  Check out this 6 on the floor little dynamo that buzzes down the streets like the other cars are standing still!

Aside from the phenominal gas mileage and great handling (and adorableness) once the license plates go vain and the door wraps are on...my marketing visibility should skyrocket!!!!

If you are not having fun...you aren't doing it right!

Irene, by the way, be sure to test drive a decent amount of time before you purchase a hybrid.  If you are able to walk into a house and instantly smell dampness, mildew or mold, you will never survive driving one.

Sensitive noses smell something from the electric engine.  I had instant severe headaches and nausia and was not able to even consider.  I tried both the Honda and the Toyota Hybrids.  Checked on the internet and apparently it is pretty common for some folks to react this way.

Gail - That's excellent information to have.  I never impulse buy with a car.  I research and research until I find just the right fit.  I just bought a Lexus LS430 last year (2004) and expect I'll drive it until it is no longer reliable (or attractive!).  But from all the research I've done, I expect this car will last a very long time.  Incidentally, I am quite sensitive to smells so this is important information for me to have.  I NEVER would have assumed this would be a problem!  Thanks for sharing that!

Cute cute cute!  My inlaws own two of them because they are driving gurus.  I never realized that about the gas mileage!

Gail, That looks like SO much fun!!  I would love zipping around in that for a while.  I used to have all fun cars and in my old age I got practical---but don't worry, I'm going back to impractical soon enough!  Congrats, have a blast.

Carole, this IS practical.  It holds 13.5 gallons and that takes me about 500 miles.  How much more practical can you get.  It's all about having fun now...

Shane...I so worried about perception, but what I came out with was this:  If you are going to do it...play it full out!  It looks like I did this on purpose, not because I had to...(and I did!)

Gail,

This car looks like a dream. I know you get 40 miles to the gallon, I hope buyers don't feel like you are a taxi service :) I'm surprised that you didn't go for the personalized plates. How about GR8 RLTR?

Gail,

This is one adorable set of wheels. What will your plates read? Drive safely and enjoy!

You might want to post this in the Car Buffs group!

C'mon back and show us your wrap when you get it done.  I bet it'll be neat.

AND, I'll bet your clients understand the "green" thing on gas mileage.

That'll make you one slick little moving billboard.

Gail,

Cute car!

It's funny because when I read your title, I immediately thought of my kids preschool song... "I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee..... won't my mamma be so proud of me"

Gail, this is sooo cute! I should get something like this; my husband keeps saying that I drive like a cab driver, this way I'd look the part:) Please post the picture w/wraps on it;  I keep toying with the idea... so far, I got as far as a license plate cover...
