Below you'll see the number of Closed Sales in Ferry Street Bridge during AUGUST is at about 85% of level we saw in the first four years of the new century - when we were experiencing the last "normal " market.  Meanwhile the inventory of Active Listings is at a six-year low. 

  At month's end, Ferry Street Bridge now has a 4-month inventory.

   Those factors certainly explain the slow uptick in August average prices.
