I have used Google Alerts for several years - don't really remember when I started. I have changed some of the search terms a little over the years, but many have remained constant. BTW, Goggle Alerts is a free service where you can specifiy keywords, phrases, or terms for Google to email you about once a day or whatever interval you select. Keep tabbs on yourself, your blogs, your website, your competition, and your industry.

Last night I publsihed a post here on Active Rain called "Love That Goggle Juice For New Home Sales Training" and in less than 2 minutes, I had the following Google Alert for my blog "Steve Hoffacker's Sales Training Tips" which is part of my footer on my AR posts:

I don't see it as a lead generator, but I have great programs for doing that. Will be doing some in Palm Beach County in the near future. :)

I use everything including Google Alerts. I have leads and business coming from so many sources. When people Google me my name shows up many levels deep. I keep blogging and refining as time permits. Thanks
