Real Estate: Opinions on the iPhone 5

Released just last week, the thinner, lighter, and larger modified iPhone has caused a mixed reaction in the Real Estate World.

One opinion notes that the larger battery life is a must for Realtors. (I know the Realtors in our office go through many batteries and charges to boot.) Furthermore the new iPhone has an 8-megapixel camera which shoot sharper photos and videos that will be appealing for the one sight photo shoots for listing signings. iOS 6, Apple’s new mobile operating system allows for facebook integration of photos, maps, calendars, contacts, and Siri.

IN 2010, 42% of agents used an iPhone, 26% owned a BlackBerry, and 19% use the Android. Most recent data show a spike in iPhone and Android use. Android use is up to 55%, iPhone 33% and BlackBerry at just 9%.

I wait to see what everyone else thinks and until all the kinks are worked out before I try any new product out. I'm curious to see what everyone thinks, but I love my Blackberry.

I too am waiting to see how the next 6 months shake out.  If I had to decide today, I would go with the Samsung S111 over the iphone 5.  However, I love my blackberry and I am waiting to see just what Blackberry 10 will bring. I have the Playbook and I love the ease of using gestures as opposed to a home button on the ipad. On geekaphone.com it has the Samsung S111 neck in neck with Blackberry Alpha Development model.  Samsung has the edge at this moment with faster speeds and capacity. While i like the refinement of the Iphone 5, it still has limitations and in using my husbands phone I have learned it may not be the best option for me. I like Siri the best.

I have used it 2 months now and it is perfect. great photos and vid and so darn fast on the LTE network speeds
