Hi Mona,
You are so funny; yes I was the passenger and we had rented a Chrysler 300 since we needed a large SUV and the company had nothing when we arrived that night in Philly. (that's another story as they had promised us a Jeep Cherokee) Anyway we got the Chrysler 300 and it had a huge windshield so it made it nice to take photos for the most part. When we stopped in heavy traffic, I even got to roll down the window and get clear shots.
Hi Kristin, I wonder about GOD creation of intelligent and smart human beings to create and built this fascinating bridges. Thanks for sharing these great photos.
Hi Kristine, Love the new photos. These are just wonderful and these will make for a nice collection.
Hi William,
I appreciate your complimentary words. I really like bridges and try to take picture whenever I see them.
Thanks for sharing your photographs. This could be an interesting series.
Enjoy the changing colors of the season with your camera in hand.

Hi Roy,
Thanks for stopping by and glad you liked my bridge pictures. Have a great week.
Kristin, Those are some great pictures of those bridges. I have had New York and Boston trip on my bucket list for quite a while, it looks like I many need to move it higher on the list!
Hi Tony and Darcy,
We had a great time and went through the freeway area of New York only and did not go visit. That is where I want to go next but probably end up being 3 years as the next two years are full of mandatory events we must attend. But what I would do is fly into Boston and then rent a car and drive to New York so we can visit both places. The bridges are so neat and I really LOVE the toll roads all through the east as the freeways in the rest of the US are not nearly as nice.
Here is a picture passing through New York City. I wish we had time to stop but had deadlines to meet. Another time!
Kristin,
Bridges are architectural structures and works of art at the same time. :)
Steve
Kristin~ Bridges and churches always capture my attention. Something about the architecture.
Hi Donna,
Do you have many bridges in Colorado? Except for a couple near the Port of LA and up in the Bay area, we do not have bridges like this. They fasinate me and I like to edit them in black and white.
We have tunnels, so you really can't see anything from the outside and the inside is boring. We do have some railroad bridges though.
Hi Donna,
We do not have many tunnels either. I cannot think of any around me but I think it is because our state has earthquakes and maybe they do not mix.
Kristin, great shots. Sure hope you were the passenger, lol.
