The Orangevale Library's 100th Anniversary celebration will be held on September 22nd, 2012 from 2:00p - 4:00p at the Orangevale Community Center. The Center is located at 6826 Hazel Avenue, Orangevale, CA.
Join the free and exciting party which will feature speakers, refreshments and entertainment. A medley of popular century songs will be played, aimed at taking everyone down memory lane.
Kids are definitely welcome and there will be face-painting and children's entertainment with Glitter the Clown and Bosco the Magician.
The Orangevale Library began in 1912 with a humble collection of 50 books in a dining room and moved to it's current location in 1988. The library has instituted many programs including literacy and art programs.
