I was contacted by Kimberely Uksik, that it was my turn.
I was born in Bermuda in 65'. That puts me over 40, More like almost 43. I Left when I was 3, because my parents made me. I do go and visit when I can. I have lived a city life in Toronto and Brantford and now live a country life in the small hamlet of Coldstream just outside of London, Ontario. I have lived here for 16 years raising my 4 kids ages 12 - 16. Oh and my other big kid my husband Dave of 21 years. How time flies. We actually missed number 20. We were reminded by my friend 2 days later as a belated happy anniversay. We said we wouldn't do that again and it happened for the 21st.
We have a calico cat named Caley (very creative name) we aquired her through the stray cat rules. 'If you feed her you keep her'. As the animal control says. My husband did not listen to meee. He fed her pork chops and mashed potatoes. She was starving. We also have a beautiful black lab, Lexi. I spend more time vacumming her black hair from my white floors then I do working.
I have studied business, interior design and staging. I started my business 1 year ago. I have worked in the health care system as a Unit clerk, Administrative Assistant and presently am the office manager of my husband medical practice. I am also Property manager and owner of rental properties. I just starting teaching at Fanshawe College in the Health Care Office Professional program.
I enjoy volunteering. I am trying to slow down this aspect as I have volunteered at the church and the childrens schools almost full time for the last 14 years. My kids use to ask me if I was getting paid by the school becuase I spent so much time there.
I enjoy travelling and so do my kids. You should here some of the plans they come up with. I love to cook and enjoy attending cooking classes. I have always enjoyed playing sports in particular tennis but can't do that anymore as I tore a ligament and won't be able to play even if I have surgery. Which I post poned due to the fact there was a I year recoup, no driving for 2 months. I have 4 kids - please. Oh the outcome was 50/ 50. The 2 months no driving was scary.
I really love design and staging. I get such enjoyment from this work. I am actively marketing and networking, so that when my kids start to find their own paths (in the very near future), I will have a steady business. (at least I hope so).
I think I have bored you enough, so I will end here.
