ATTENTION VETERANS! Oshkosh Veteran’s Acupuncture Project is offering complimentary Acupuncture! –
To honor and help Veterans from any war, Carol Hemauer of Westshore Acupuncture, LLC is offering complimentary community style Acupuncture to veterans and their families. Treatments are based on the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association ear protocol, which has been proven to be extremely powerful in alleviating symptoms of stress and trauma.
During treatment, people sit fully clothed, in comfortable reclining chairs while the acupuncturist places 5 tiny needles on each ear. The participants are invited to close their eyes and rest for 30 to 40 minutes as the acupuncture does its work.
Veterans at other clinics are reporting benefits such as:
* Improved mental clarity, focus and memory
* Boost of energy
* Enhance performance
* Improved sleep
* Reduced stress
* Reduced anxiety and irritability
* Alleviated from hyper-vigilance and nightmares
Acupuncturists Without Borders started this veteran project in 2006. Currently, there are 16 clinics operating in 12 states across the U.S. In Wisconsin, there are clinics in Madison and Milwaukee. Westshore Acupuncture is proud to be opening the first clinic in the Oshkosh/Fox Valley area. The licensed, fully trained and compassionate acupuncturists are dedicated to providing this service to the community.
Donations will be accepted and assist with supplying the clinic with needles and other important supplies. The Oshkosh Veterans Acupuncture Project is currently looking for a site to operate the clinic 1 or 2 nights a week for 2 to 3 hours. If you know of anyone willing to donate a large room or space to accommodate 10 lounge chairs, please contact Westshore Acupuncture at 920.230.7207 or email@example.com.
