DUNDARAVE WEST VANCOUVER HOME STAGING VIDEO

DUNDARAVE WEST VANCOUVER HOME STAGING VIDEO

Staging this Dundarave, West Vancouver condo for sale was a real delight.  Before staging this property, many pieces of furniture were edited, new carpet was laid, and the walls were painted a fresh, neutral colour.  Once we had a nice, blank canvas, we kept a few of the owner’s pieces of furniture, and added some rental furnishings.

Rather than trying to explain the transformation through words, let us show you, through video, what we did to make this property more appealing, and to speak to the demographic and to the great location near Dundarave Village.

David - That's high praise from the video-meister himself.  Thanks so much (oh, and p.s. I just signed up for the RESA Conference  today)!

Peggy Sue!  Well, I don't have your great acting confidence, but I think I spluttered my point across.  Glad you liked the lil black dress!

Sally watched your YouTube and gave it a like!  You're such a natural.  The one I posted tonight is the first one I've actually been in front of the camera.  I've done TV commercials and many years of radio but for some reason I just couldn't get comfortable doing the YouTube.  My wife kept encouraging me so I posted it.  I have subscribed to your post and look forward to seeing more of you in the Rain.

John - I thought I heard a 'radio voice' in your commentary on your video.  I'm glad your wife encouraged you - it was fun to "meet" John McCormack.  Thanks for "liking" my YouTube video - I G+'d yours and will go back and 'like' your YouTube video, because it's really good and should be seen by home sellers.  I'm off to subscribe to your posts.  Thanks for all the support!

Great video Sally, makes me want to get an ocean front home, I am sure the buyers will love the improvements that you have made to this home.

Sally, what an exceptional way to demonstrate how you took a very blah place-nothing terrible and nothing fabulous-and turned it around to an "I WANT THAT PROPERTY" experience.  Using the ocean as a back drop to inspire you colors and your use of decorative objects was perfect.

Bob - Thanks so much for the great feedback.  The name of the game is to attract buyers and get this condo sold!

Joanna - We are so lucky to be surrounded by the sea and the mountains.  My two main themes seem to be ocean related or alpine related, so lots of greens and blues.  These empty, boring, beige boxes are tough to sell.  They really do need to be infused by some personality and colour.

Hi Sally - a great video. I like the idea of "less is more" in your staging. Also like wall art, combining the colours of the accessories and furniture. Very nice job!

Cheers!

David - Thanks so much.  Of course, these colours would work very well where you are, in Victoria, surrounded by all that water!

I love the way your are so relaxed in front of the camera. I am jealous... in a good way....This is a second video I enjoyed and i hope to see more. As for the place you transformed I LOVE..love ...love contemporary chairs/antique dining table combination. And of course the fact that you brought outdoors in with touches of blue in accents.

Hi Sally ~ The Dundarave condo looks fantastic after you worked your staging magic .... looks like a prime location too.  Your video is an excellent marketing piece for your business ~ Congrats on doing a great job on both!

Anna - Thanks so much for the feedback.  I think I was so engrossed in my staging project that I forgot to be nervous!  We were able to save the client the cost of renting a dining table, by simply switching out the traditional chairs with some contemporary ones.  I really helped to update this unit.

Maureen - I couldn't emphasize the wonderful location more.  It's within walking distance of the Dundarave sea wall, a beautiful walk along the ocean, and also the Dundarave village with its great coffee shops, boutique gift stores and restaurants.  I think it was really important to stage with the location at the top of the priority list!

Hi Sally, lovely watery blue accents really do make the connection to your locale.  Very restful atmosphere, lovely work. Congratulations on the video. My husband purchased a camera for me two years ago so that I could produce good quality video for my blog posts.  One of these days I will actually use it. Especially if I can get results as good as yours!

Michelle - My advice is to charge that camera up and dive right in there!  I had my staging assist hold my little point and shoot camera, and just press the record button.  Then all you have to do is ramble on!
