Change is in the air, and as cool as the mornings have been lately, Fall is too! I don’t know why I always associate Fall with change? Maybe the leaves turning colors? Maybe getting out of my summer wardrobe and into some warmer clothes? Could be just watching my children start into new grades, new adventures.
As I sit here pondering this, I think back to last Fall. I am NO WHERE close to where I imagined I would be. I couldn’t have even pictured at the time that I would be working in a BRAND NEW real estate brokerage. I never dreamed I would be the one to find the office space for our professional new brokerage. I certainly didn’t think that I would be the one to create the name for our company, Preble Plus Realty. Yet here I am…in a new space with a new name, working to create exciting experiences in home buying and selling.
I think the thing that has surprised me most is how very different two local real estate brokerages can feel. And without looking back too much, as I’d rather look forward, let me just say this…Customer-centric is the name of our game.

You don’t have to be a computer pro or sign away your first born to look at properties! We have FREE seminars coming up next month (October 18) for investors and new homebuyers alike and we will have free seminars every few months. Our houses are advertised as price per MONTH, so you can take a look and know right away if it’s something you can afford. And we have training for agents both new and old, three times a week, just to stay on top of the market, the latest trends, the newest homes, and the best financing options.
Honestly, I have always been somewhat against change. I guess I like my routines. Change scares me. But change doesn’t have to equal bad. Allowing yourself to be open to new things, new people, and new ways can often broaden your horizons and introduce you to great things!
