Things to do in Alameda: Don't miss Customer Appreciation Day on Park Street on Saturday, September 22. Most businesses in the Park Street Business District will be participating in some way. There will be give aways, drawings for prizes and great discounts. There will also be a drawing for a basket of goodies and gift certificates worth $250.00 put together by the business in the Park Street Business District. Visit all the businesses and enter for a chance to win the gift basket.
Things to do in Alameda: Live @ the Library, 2012 Concert Series first concert featuring Kenny Washington on Saturday, September 22 at 8:00 pm. Ticket for the three concerts are $90 or each individual concert for $35 and can be ordered online at brownpapertickets or at Books Inc, 1344 Park Street and at the Library at Dewey’s Friends Cafe.

Things to do in Alameda: Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid will be back with more food trucks on September 22,from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot near Petco. Eight to ten trucks will including Curry Up Now, Hiyaaa, Kinder’s BBQ, Mayo & Mustard, Nick’s Wheely Good Breakfast, Pacific Puffs, Sanguchon, Street Dogs and the Chairman Count me in. Yummy.
Things to do in Alameda: The Alamedas Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, September 22 and Tuesday, September 25 morning from 9am to 1pm, rain or shine. Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits and vegetables. The market is at Webster Street and Haight Avenue.
Things to do in Alameda: The Alameda Architectural Preservation Society and The Alameda Museum will combine their resources to offer “Alameda Legacy Home Tour” on Sunday, September 23 at 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets the day of the event are $35 or buy your tickets at the Alameda Legacy Home Tour site.

The Alameda Museum Lecture series on Thursday, September 27, at 7:00 pm will feature Architect Richard Rutter "An Albino Angel's Resurrection" tells the saga of one of the airplanes on pylons at NAS. The Alameda Museum is located at 2324 Alameda Avenue and the fee for non-members is $10. The lecture is free to members of the Alameda Museum.
Alameda Walks on October 6 at 9:00 am meets at Washington Park Dog Park for the Owners and Pet Walk II. Owners and their pets can enjoy Alameda Walks and meet with new friends both canine and human. This walk will last an hour. Dog treats will be provided.
Alameda Point Antiques Faire on Sunday, October 7 from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. You will have great time people watching, buying cools things, and enjoying great food. Entry fee is $10 before 7:30 am, $5 after 9:00 am.
