The best camera in the world without exception.

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Richard Weisser Realty

The best camera in the world without exception.I was recently in the market for a new camera. One of the best things about film cameras was that kept clean and in good working order, they could be used indefinitely.

One of the bad things about digital cameras, like most modern technology, is that they become obsolete very quickly.

But there is one constant in the world of photography that has NOT changed over the years:

The BEST camera in the world is the human eye.

The best imaging software is programmed in the human brain.

And while we try and try to capture reality in 1/100 of a second intervals no amalgamation of plastic and glass will ever be able to recreate the scope and breadth of the glory that surrounds us.

And no screen or ink can duplicate it!

Good morning Richard,

I had to suggest this post..we get so caught up in the latest equipment and we forget about the best camera in the world and that is our very own eye capturing images. I just got back from my morning walk and saw the sun come up..what a glorious sight!

Gary...

Excellent thought, and I agree! Thanks so much.

Hi Dorie...

It's foggy and eerie here, which has a special appeal in itself. Have a great day my friend.

And yes, the human eye is so complex that science still cannot fully explain its intricacies!

Richard, It was a good morning for recording memories.  Before I could get off my street this morning, I stopped to see the fog over the cornfield to the left, and the sun starting to poke through the fog ahead of me.  Then a doe and her fawn ran across in front of me.  A couple of hundred yards further and two bucks were standing next to the cornfield.  They crossed over to the soybean field and just stared at me and my car as I stopped.  No fear, no hurry.  A few bounds into the soybean field and then they stopped to look back.

And 15 minutes later I was stuck in traffic :)   Bill

Interesting post and I like it! My dad used to always say " I don't need a camera, I've got all the pictures I need in my memory". Hes got a few others too but I think one quote a day from my dad is enough :) Have a great weekend!

Yes, and if only people would stop and smell the roses, oh . . . you know what I mean.  People pass beauty by everyday, every second.  They're looking for it on their screens (the big screen, the tiny screen).  Smell the roses folks . . . oh, you know what I mean ;-)  Beautiful reminder for us all Richard.

So often I wish that I could just get my camera to capture what it is that I see.... I agree completely with you. Unfortunately my eye's view doesn't work very well for MLS.

Richard, you do a wonderful job of getting your eye to work hand in hand with your camera to catch some beautiful images.
