This glazed baby back rib recipe came from a Friday night version of "Chopped" at my home.  I was trying to figure out how to use what I have in my fridge to make dinner. I created this marinade that was really part of a fridge clean out earlier this evening.  It was a big hit so I decided I to share it before I forget what I did.

2 1/2 lbs baby back ribs

1/2 med red onion, chopped

1 clove of garlic, chopped

1 lime, juiced

1/2 C Patron Orange Liqueur

salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 325 F and line a baking pan with aluminum foil.  Put the onion, garlic, lime and the Patron Liqueur in the baking pan.  Salt and pepper the ribs and then place the ribs in the marinade.  Cover with foil and bake for an hour.  Turn the ribs and cook for another 30 mins.  Increase the heat to about 425 and remove the foil from the top.   Cook both sides for at least another 10-15 mins until done dark brown and the marinade has carmelized.

Ribs were eaten before they could be photographed.

Sounds very enticing. I really wanted to see the final product and was elated to read that the picture was not available. I'm definitely going to try your recipe.

Let me know how it turns out.  Since it was a total experiment I just cut up and passed around the ribs hoping someone was brave enough to try and then they were gone!
