Hard to believe it, but autumn is almost here, and that can only mean one thing in eastern Pasco County, Florida, it is time to remind you that the 2012 Annual Rattlesnake Festival will take place on October 20th and 21st of 2012. San Antonio, Florida is just to the north of Tampa and a few miles east of Interstate 75 in the hills of Pasco County on State Road 52. The festival takes place in the village park in the center of town. You cannot miss it!
This is a very popular and unique event. Something you are not likely to see in Minneapolis, Philadelphia or Columbus. Of course the festival encompasses more than rattlesnakes. There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Some of the events this year are:
