I was so pleased when my dear friend asked me to help her son find a condo. He wanted to stay in that $350k price range in either the Windward side of Oahu, or Pearlridge area which is close to his work place. I generally work and specialize in Kaneohe and Kailua, but of course do occasionally have clients that are interested in other parts of the island. So we both explored the Pearlridge area. Most condos there seem to be close to the mall which is somewhat noisy, and congested. However there was one complex about 5 minutes from the mall sitting on a lovely golf course that was so impressive. At that point, we just concentrated on any units available in this complex.
It is called "Colonnade on Greens". It is a gated community that is peaceful with about 12 acres of land and mostly all the units were under $400k depending on the height of the floor, view, size, and condition. You had a variety of units with a beautiful golf course garden view, some even with a panoramic ocean view as well as of the city.
What a great feeling when you are searching and you find a gem like this that would fit perfectly for your clients needs!! There are amenities like swimming pool, workout room, ample parking, tennis courts which were nice perks too. A very clean, well upkept set of buildings that was impressive!
We explored 4 or 5 units that were available and zero'd in on this one unit. FOUND & SOLD!!! This is such a lovely and affordable condo for anyone who is looking for a condo, and such an opportunity for a first time home buyer! Here are a couple of pictures of this 3 bedroom unit that he purchased for $355,000. What a deal!
I will be keeping this complex in mind for those who are looking for a property in the Pearlridge area.
