Homes and land for sale at exclusive Gozzer Ranch Club in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
I had an opportunity to take a cruise through beautiful and exclusive Gozzer Ranch a couple weeks ago. I was on errand to Harrison along the Lake Coeur d'Alene Scenic Byway and decided to take a quick detour through Gozzer Ranch.
Gozzer Ranch, off the beaten track and nestled in the woods overlooking the lake, is a community of exclusive properties with world-class amenities. Not just the requisite nationally recognized golf course, but there are also marinas, restaurants, a pool and spa, kids camp and of course a multitude of recreational pursuits on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene.
It's quiet at Gozzer Ranch, and beautiful. The development fell on the same hard times as others built in the heyday of the market frenzy, before the bottom fell out. Nevertheless, it appears to be well maintained, with happy residents, in spite of the number of homes we know must be empty and home sites that languish unsold. The developers of Gozzer Ranch have done a fantastic job of maintaining the community and eliminating a ghost town feeling. You won't see a For Sale sign anywhere in spite of the 70 Gozzer Ranch properties currently listed in the Coeur d'Alene MLS. You can see all of these properties at the link below.
Eventually, the real estate market will turn and folks will flock to Gozzer Ranch for their vacation get-away homes on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Meanwhile, I have a friend who invested in a building site at Gozzer for about 20% of what it was originally listed at. His shrewd investment earned his family the right to enjoy all of the Gozzer Ranch amenities.
