Where Do You Go?

Hi Mona,
I really miss the slow walks down a country tree filled lane like your shot.
(sigh) I really do.
Thanks for the memories.
Have a great day in Sylva.
Best, Clint McKie
Mona - Thank you! I needed this today. I am going to look at your picture again while taking deep breaths. This will keep me from injuring anyone near me today!
Counting your blessings and thinking of others means you are full of joy. So when something bumps you, rubs you a little against the grain you take it all in stride. Consider it all joy and are at peace. Other people are not carbon copies of us. Situations that strain are a test. Always take the high road and not consider anything personal when others are not in tune to the same way of thinking. Celebrate, embrace differences.
Clint, you need to find yourself some tree lined walks and quick!
Peter, glad I was helpful...guess we have this in common - the love of a woodsy walk.
Seems like that would be a peaceful and serene walk, but I agree with Roger. The beach is the place for me!
Mona. Awesome photo. Sometimes we just need to escape reality for a bit to clear our head and gather our thoughts. My special place involves surf and sand. Transforms me everytime.
Good morning Mona. Thoughtful and lovely. Picture is great and makes me want to jump into the screen. For me it is a trail like this in the Berkshires, and so I bought a place there.
Mona: My nirvana. Well, besides my family ... I, much like you, see trees, water, and perhaps even some animal life. But it surrounds a golf course! Perhaps that beautiful Sequoyah National Golf Club in Cherokee that I saw while out visiting you and Leslie. Now THAT is my idea of heaven here on earth and a wonderful example of where I visit in my mind on those challenging days ...

Roger, when I lived in Miami the beaches in Hollywood and Dania were my favorite, combining beach and woods. Lovely.
Valerie, indeed I did.
Than, I love the beach too.
Belinda, I read about your trip to California...sort of expected beaches would rank high for you.
Sheila, life is even better if your dream place is where you live.
Gene, sounds like a great vision to me.
