Halloween is Approaching - Does your Pet have a Costume?

HalloweenHalloween is always a fun Holiday for the kiddos to get dressed up and go Trick or Treating.      Costumes are the rage this time of year, and many are coming up with a good ideas for the theme of the year.

Tootsie Roll?Have you thought about what your PET will be sporting this Halloween?
Over the years, this trend has really taken off, and the costume shops are expecting another great year for pet costumes.     You can dress your pet in a unique and fun costume for as little as $20.00.    Imagine the kid’s surprise opening the door and finding a pet dressed up as a Tootsie Roll!

Chiquita Banana?Bat Dog?Is this Dorothy?

Maybe it is the year to gather your friends and have a party for the Pets?

Here are some stores that offer not only pet supplies, but pet costumes in Denver.

Costumes can be fun, but just cannot see a pup dressed up liked this!

Silver Screen?

Joan, I've gotta tell you that my favorite pet costume above was the Marilyn Bulldog.

Pet costumes are BIG business these days and not just for Halloween. I dislike the last one too.

Joan, I love all the pet costumes in this post, especially the last one...still smiling at this one.  My chocolate lab, Zeke, doesn't like clothes all him.  I'm amazed he lets me put the Santa hat on him at Christmas.

Joan -- the report out this morning is that spending for pet costumes for Halloween "will hit a record $370 million".   Hmmm - maybe the economy is recovering.

Joan- The pet costumes are so cute, I love your pictures. Walter prefers his bow tie over a costume but, maybe I can talk him into something better this year!

First of all to answer your question, snook is extremely mild and tastes similar to grouper.

Second, I no longer have any pets and at almost 64, don't want one again. I want to be free to travel as I please. My daughter has two pets and when I need a fix, I visit them.

I think having a costume like most of these just would be too fun.    Those kitties would not put up with it, unfortunately.

Barbara-Jo, thanks for the comment, I was going to go back to your post later today.     Never had grouper either.     You don't look 64, and having pets does hold you down a bit.

Joan-Hilarious costumes. I had no idea there was that much money spent on costumes for animals. I don't think Shadow would appreciate me dressing her up.

Joan,

No, I don't have a pet but if I did, I'd ship my pet over to you to fit him or her into a stunning Halloween Costume.

Those photographs are wonderful! What a great idea!

I have a Rottweiler...his scary costume is built in. At 10 months old he already weighs 130 pounds. He's mostly black with big white teeth, and he doesn't like strangers coming to his house. This is a true story.

I took him with me to the local big box chain office, and he growled at every male broker in there. My broker thinks he's a real team player.
