Natures  bounty can be so rewarding- I did not know that sugar apples would grow here in the states , I have some friends from the islands who currently live in Florida can't wait to tell the to give it a try.

Kwee - That's an amazing harvest to find in any backyard.  Really exotic types of fruits.  I love Star Fruit, and I've never heard of Sugar Apples.  They look very interesting.

The are many benefits to have your backyard garden, get fresh air while planting (exercise), joy of harvesting to enjoy pesticides free fruits and vegetables, save money on grocery or share it with your neighbors and friends.

Sugar apple is sweet and delicious, it likes hot weather, we have it in Sarasota county FL.

The Asian eat starfruit and bitter melon to lower their blood pressure.

Hi Kwee, Spectacular backyard garden and what fun growing them since you did not know they would all adapt to the climate here. I only a plum and an apricot tree. New season I am going to put in a lemon tree when I dig out my overgrown palm. Thanks for the garden photos.
