Our church is hosting four homeless families this week and we, along with another couple, voluntered to provide dinner Monday night. What a blessing it was for us to do this. We got much more out of it than the families we fed.These were all single parent families and all were employed but not making enough money for decent housing. One lady works two jobs because she can't find a full time job. Another of the ladies with two small children asked fro a broom and dish cloth so she could clean any mess they had made. Another was going to be moving to an apartment the following week and she and her daughter were both so excited. Family Promise is a really great charity and we were so blessed to contribute such a small amount.
