There's Still Time to Get a Lakeshore Deal Before the Snow Flies!

Every time I check on lakeshore pricing in the north Twin Cities metro, I am nothing short of amazed. Prices on lakeshore are amazingly affordable. I know that the media has been touting the real estate comeback for several weeks now, Yes some homes in some areas are starting to sell again. Yet, lakeshore properties are not flying off the MLS like other homes. This means there are tremendous opportunities out there if you want to own a lakehome in the north Minneapolis/St Paul metro area.

Out of the hundreds of homes on the market in the Twin Cities only a handful are really good deals. But those considering a lakeshore purchase now have many good options in Anoka County.

Maybe you are considering owning a lake home for the first time. As a first time lakeshore buyer, it may be hard to tell whether a deal is good or not. As a REALTOR® , I specialize in acreage and lakeshore throughout Andover, Blaine, Ham Lake, Lino Lakes, as well as surrounding communities, I try to assess which properties are the best potential deals.  There are currently 29 lake front homes actively listed in Anoka County. From Coon Lake to Otter Tail Lake, there are not only affordable options, there are some very well priced properties! Though these homes are not my listings, I wanted to share a few lakeshore homes that really stood out to me as good buys in Anoka County. All of these homes are being sold by traditional sellers so any lakehome buyer would be able to close quickly and be in their affordable lakehome before the snow flies!

MARTIN LAKE Picture perfect inside and out this 3BR/2BA 1900+ square ft lakehome is just $219,9K. A $30K price drop since the beginning of the year!

SPRING LAKE 4BR/2BA on picturesque natural lake front in Spring Lake Park. Lots of updates, hwd floors Listed at $179,900 down $20K since listed in August.

now is the best time ot buy a lake home.  many deals to be had because most people don't want to pay 7-8 months of payments without getting any use.
