palm springs valley equestrian propertyIt's that time of year again when the horses and rigs start returning to the desert for the winter equestrian events.  Polo is HUGE in our valley.  Seems strange, but we are second only to Florida with numbers of players, horses and fields.  Our East Valley relys on the players/familes and grooms to jump the economy every single year.  Horses are GIANT business here in the Palm Springs Valley.

Eldorado Polo Club has 9 fields, hundreds of stalls and turnouts, a 1/4 mile galloping track, a front office and of course the Cantina for dining and entertainment.  Field 1 features the star matches at noon and 2 pm every Sunday.  I have a box fieldside for my clients and friends..a good time for everyone.

Next door at Empire Polo club, there are not only day polo matches, but also night games!  That's right..one night each week features a "polo game under the lights"..it's amazing and fun.  Then there's Arena Polo which is 3 on a side polo played in an arena with a larger, air filled ball.  The grandstands are fieldside and it makes for a great spectator sport..plus there are bars located fieldside!

Empire also is home to the infamous Tackrom Tavern with it's cozy feel and warm, welcoming bar.  Live entertainment every week varying from Country Western, to Rock to Jazz..big dance floor too!

Try a visit to the polo fields this season..it will change your idea from "Pretty Woman" to "Fun for everyone!"

..and I hope I'm playing again this season..missed the past 2 years with a broken leg, but all is well now..
