Case Shiller Index shows home values rising nationwide. Does it mean anything? Has your Real Estate Market fully recovered?

Stumbled upon this blog by Jon Klein - Search Parkland Homes for sale - Parkland FL neighborhoods Case Shiller Index shows home values rising nationwide. My comment was "Case Shiller Index is a National Index. While the Housing Market has started to rebound in many major real estate markets, this shouldn't indicate that the Housing Market has bottomed. Many local real estate markets are still recovering. Ex: PG County MD.

PG County MD is a county located immediately north, east, and south of Washington, D.C. Like many of the local Real estate markets,PG County MD has been decimated with Short Sales. Try getting a Short Sale approved in PG County MD-GOOD FREAKING LUCK. Anyway PG County MD Homes on sale I am sure is one of many Real Estate Markets that haven't quite recovered yet from this Real Estate mess. So do you agree with Case Shiller? And how is your Real Estate Market. Has it fully recovered? Recovering? Or nothing has changed at all? Please share your comments.

In some counties home prices are starting to inch up because of low inventory and an uptick in demand.
