Amazing Architecture
While scouring the internet for "unique" homes, it's amazing to see some of the unusual locations homes are built in or on. We've come across cave homes, homes in trees, homes on the side of mountains.
This week's pick has a very unique location, on a solitary rock in the middle of the water!
Clingstone, Rhode Island

This is truly an incredible home! It's a 103 year old mansion literally in Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay. Built in 1905 for 35,982.99, this 3 storey home has 23 rooms. There are 10 bedrooms in total and 65 windows with spectacular views all around. There's even a ping pong room!

The home is built for large family gatherings with the dining room table seating 14.

Every Memorial Day weekend, the owners have a work weekend with 70 or so friends and family in order to maintain the home. Even the local boatyard participates getting a week's use of Clingstone each summer in exchange for hauling the boats and floating dock and storing them each winter for the family.
The owner's definitely seem to have a sense of humor. Here's the ladder to Clingstone's roof.

Unbelievable views of the harbor surround Clingstone, making it an ideal summer retreat!

Not too sure what it would be like to be there during a storm though!
