Colorado Springs Fall Fun ~ Pumpkin Patches & Apple Orchards

By
Real Estate Agent with The Platinum Group Realtors

I love season changes for many reasons but this year seems to be more important, or maybe noticable. It seems as though as we get close to the time for Fall this year I am ready and looking forward to crisp, cool days and the leaves to bring on colors of fall.  After this summer of record hot temperatures in Colorado Springs I felt robbed of summer and have loved the Fall whether we have had. It has been fantastic and makes it fun to go out and explore Colorado.

Fall is also tied to  our sense of smell & taste.  Going out to decorate with pumpkins, picking apples for pies, cobbler, etc if fun for the whole family.

Pumpkin Patch in Colorado

Fall as we know involves all the festivities related to Halloween yet there is a lot of opportunity to get outside and enjoy Colorado's fall climate and beauty.  The Colorado Springs area (Pikes Peak Region) offers several options for pumpkins and apples.  The Happy Apple Farm is a one example with a days worth of activities for the entire family ~ dogs included.

That Happy Apple Farm Kelly sounds like a wonderful event for children and their parents to share broad smiles. Pumpkin patches this time of year get us truly in the mood for the Fall season.

What is autumn without pumpkin patches and apple orchards, afterall... they simply epitomize the season! Nice localism post. And adorable photo, too!
