Walton County Florida Sales Trends

By

Here in the Panhandle there are signs of new construction everywhere.  Walton County had an 88% jump in the new home sales category.  Once again mostly prompted by builders buying up distressed residential lots and building new at very affordable and reasonable prices this close to the beach.

Lot sales were up almost 74% for the year over last year contributing to this growth.

The only category seemingly going down right now are condo sales.  Down overall almost 17%.  Financing for a condo is much more difficult than in days gone by.

Foreclosures have dropped off while Lis Pendens are beginning to rise.

If you are looking to buy here in the Panhandle, it is not too late.  I work with buyers like yourself and can assist you through the process.  I look forward to hearing from you.

In the meantime, enjoy this photo of our area.
