It’s Oktoberfest Time Again In Carlsbad California on October 6, 2012
It’s amazing how we measure time in yearly events and here is it time, AGAIN, for the popular Carlsbad Oktoberfest 2012.
The 30th Annual Rotary Oktoberfest in Carlsbad will be happening this Saturday, October 6, 2011 at Holiday Park in Carlsbad from 12 noon until 10 pm. Holiday Park is located along Pio Pico and the freeway between Pine and Chestnut.
The Carlsbad Oktoberfest 2012, is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carlsbad, with major sponsors Hoehn Motors and Time Warner Cable.
Funds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad, the Women’s Resource Center, the Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club charities and the Rotary Club of Carlsbad charities.
You are sure to find plenty of German music, polka dancing, activities for the kids including face painting, a pumpkin patch with pumpkin decorating, several bands, a magician, and a classic German Oktoberfest dinner provided by Carlsbad’s Tip Top Meats, served from Noon until 8 pm.
Tickets at $10 can be purchased at a variety of locations in advance or on the day of the event. Here’s the menu that include other items besides the German Dinner.
