A few weeks ago, I lost my cell phone and all my contacts. I was not happy. But, it was time to upgrade and I got a Droid, and I have to say I'm loving it. The more I use it, the more I love it and I keep finding new things and ways that it can save me time.
I still have tons to learn. When I got it, I had to rush out of the store, so I never got a lesson. I keep learning things by accident and from people telling me. I still have much more to do and discover, but each week, it's getting better.
I now have my facebook contacts on there...so pictures of people I'm connected to...so they automatically got imported into my contact list. And, some of those people had their cell phones connected to their account, so now I have them in my list. Cool. Also, I see that I can leave them notes on their FB acct right there from my contact list. Another cool thing (although I barely use Facebook.
I added ringtones for those that call me most often, so I can quickly identify who is calling me before even looking for the phone. I also added several contacts to favorites.
I downloaded the apps for G+ and Pinterest, so I am able to use those now. Cool. I have 4 square, too...but am yet to check in anywhere and I'm not really sure how to use. I don't really want to use 4 square (esp for safety reasons), but I do want to use it to check into my office as this may help boost my rankings on Google Places.
I also downloaded Evernote and I'm starting to use this for my to do lists.
Anyway, for those using the Droid, I'd welcome your input on tips and tricks that help, especially ones you've found to help make things more efficient.
