First Annual Traffic Jam, Hood River's WAAAM, October 12 & 13th, 2012
The Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum in Hood River is proud to present its first annual TRAFFIC JAM Car Show and Cruise-In next weekend, October 12th & 13th.
Don't miss this weekend of cars, cars, cars, sure to thrill any classic car enthusiast. The weekend includes a Model T Quick Build Challenge, car show, cruise through Hood River and a drive-in movie. Along with food, music, games and technical sessions, the museum is THE place to be.
Schedule of Events:
Friday
8 - 5 Early Registration
Tour the museum, special pricing for admission as the Autos start arriving
NASCAR Show Cars arrive. See the Kasey Kain #38 show car! Arriving Friday AM!
5:30 - Participants gather for the Hood River Cruise
5:45 - Cruise through the heights & downtown Hood River
6:30 - Gather back at WAAAM for social hour including Beer Garden, food from the Lions Club
7:30 - Fire will be lit and movie will begine
10:30 - Event closes
8:00 - Registration begins
8 -10:00 - Breakfast from Lions Club
9:00 - Opening of WAAAM Museum and car show
10-12:00 - Open Music Announcements
12:00 - Live Music Begins for lunch
1:00 - Model T Build Challenge. You have got to see this!
1:30 - Participants and Peoples Choice Ballots close
3:00 - Awards Ceremony
5:00 - WAAAM Closes
