Bark in the Park Winners
It was a fine day at Liberty Park, Clarksville TN at the Bark Park. The event had an enthusiastic group of people and vendors present.
Many owners and their pooches enjoyed the new fenced Bark Park and its watering station.
There were many folks that didn’t bring their dogs but came anyway just to see what all the excitement was about.
They browsed through the booths and talked with the vendors and chatted with the dog owners and their dogs.
I had several doggie conversations myself. They were so Cute!
The Costume Contest brought owners and their pooches dressed to the nines. Kahlua won best costume dressed as a Pirate. Ruff, Ruff!
The Look Alike Contest was also won by Kahlua and his masters. That is one Lucky Dog.
Some of the Look Alikes were very disappointed but you can only have one winner and Kahlua was on a roll that day.
The Best Trick Contest was actually very funny. The owners coaxed and pleaded to get their pets to do that one special trick.
Many of the dogs had a little stage fright and refused to play along.
But one dog, Leroy showed his skill when he was asked by his owner to say “I Love You.”
And he must really love his master because he proclaimed his love over and over again. She Loves Him Too.
Some people didn't bring a real dog but they were just as welcome.
The Bark in the Park Winners and the rest of us had a really great time in the fresh air and sunshine. More photos are posted on one of the sponsors, Clarksville Now.
