The Perfect Ending To A Beautiful Day

The perfect end to a beautiful day!  Today several of the agents in our office got together and held a Multi-House Open House in a subdivision in our market.  The day started very chilly -- about 20 degrees less than yesterday.  It was overcast and gloomy and not the sort of day anyone would choose to venture out unless necessary.  It was a day designed for snuggling up in front of the fireplace with a good book!

When I was packing up the paperwork, candles and goodies from my open house, as  usual, I placed my camera on the front seat.  “You never know what you might see” the little voice in my head reminded me.

I hadn’t gone a mile down the road when I saw a deer standing in the woods next to the road. I immediately pulled over in the grass and grabbed the camera.  I opened the door and quietly stood next to my SUV.  She watched me for a minute and, as she kept looking back, I knew what was coming - slowly she edged out into the street....

Then one little “Bambi” followed her.....

Cyndi, aren't you lucky to have gotten those shots?  When I see deer they are usually so skittish and dash off.  Very nice.  Glad you had a good day.

Van - I never go anywhere without the camera close by.  You just never know!

Mona -  You are so right about those skittish deer.  We used to live in this neighborhood and there are lots of deer there.  I think they have gotten more comfortable with the people than those that might be "out in the woods" so to speak.

Hi Bill and Cyndi, WOW, that was unexpected. How sweet with the little fawns. They don't look to be very old. Great Shots!

Hi Bill & Cyndi, Spectacular photos of the deers. I always keep a camera in my car...maybe not my best one but one that will get most shots. You were so lucky to see this doe and her two fawns.
