Fall is in the air in Palm Desert and even the colors are changing. Everywhere you look, the town is being painted Pink! Yes you read right, I said PINK. It is October and yes that means Breast Cancer Awareness month. Here in Palm Desert we are having the 6th annual Paint El Paseo Pink Walk. Young, old and even our four legged friends all come out to walk El Paseo to show support and raise money for an amazing cause.
The Desert Cancer Foundation provides free cancer screening , support and treatment options to those that are unable to financially get help otherwise, right here in the Coachella Valley.
So come on out to El Paseo on Oct 13, 2012 , the day begins at 9:30 am. Walk, talk and enjoy the amazing sunny weather in Palm Desert. Bring your friends, make new friends and enjoy a nice stroll, support our local establishments by grabbing a bite to eat and make the day count.
