Creative Marketing Ideas Needed In Times Like These......

By
Real Estate Agent with Tam Realty

In times like these we all know how important it is to be creative and get some new clients.  We've come up with a couple things at Tam Realty lately that have really worked.  I would love to start a dialog about out of the box, creative ideas that other agents can contribute too--

Here are a few:

1) With all the rain, we bought some cheap yet nice umbrellas and tied our cards to them.  You won't believe the positive response we've received when we hand someone an umbrella while they are trying to stay dry!

2) Baby onsies - I'm a new mom with two kids under the age of 1 1/2 and use them as my mini marketing tools.  People can't help comment when they see them in a Tam Realty onsie.

3) Utilizing the media in a different way - I read the newspaper and read about local people.  Some have just had kids, some have had tragedies, some have interesting businesses.  If it makes sense, I find a way to email them, form a connection and see if I can help in any way with my real estate or marketing background.

those are some good tips.

I am a Realtor in Colorado and i have yet to find a way to give people snow shovels any ideas? since we normally do not see people out in there driveways clearing them if they do not have a shovel or snow blower. I have been thinking of buying a four wheeler and driving around nad simply taking a day and plowing a few driveways what do you think?

Brian-

Think that is a great idea.....you'll definitely get noticed if you help your neighbors get out of the snow!

I've been using the umbrella one for years and I can tell you it works wonders. I also carry cans of fix-a-flat and pull over to hand them to people with flat tires!
