Just tell me the rules ( my Dream)

By
Real Estate Agent with AllMountainRealty.com

When you go out to play a game you need to know the rules. If you are inside playing a board game or a card game you need to know the rules. Either someone is there who has experience, or you can read them.

In today's lending world the rules are in a foundation of Jello and change all the time. They vary from lender to lender. They vary from Fannie to Freddie, to FHA to USDA to conventional. That's OK but then they change more often than I comb my hair.

Uncertainty is a big negative factor in any market that you are investing in. Housing is not an exception. So please somebody tell me the rules. And when you do promise me they will be good for at least 48 hours !!!

Working with buyers now means you now start sentences with , it might be, or it has been, or yesterday it was, or we will have to check to make sure. This does not make us look as good as we should . So please Mr or Mrs lender set out some rules and stick to them for a while  !!

Amen!  Tell me the rules of the game and stick to them.  I agree that if we are going to play in this sandbox and have rules, keep them consistent at least until we can win a game or two!

Charlie...

You said it. It seems like everything changes from one day to the next and it can be very frustrating at times!

Both sides need to work honestly with each other for a mortgage deal to go through. Great post, Charlie.

The rules of every game are constantly changing, it is up to us to be able to keep abreast of the new rules. RE is no exception!  Thank you for stopping by and I know I have been a bit MIA since I am buried up to my eyeballs in work.
