Let me start this off by saying I did not find real body parts in an attic but I thought I did. While preparing for the attic inspection in Garden City I did what I always do, shine a light around the opening to make sure there are not rodents eyes shining back at me. That has happened a couple times and I won't go in an attic with any animals in it, at least not live ones.
While looking around the attic my eye caught something that took my breath away and I thought I was looking at something quite terrible but quickly realized what I was seeing was in fact a prosthetic leg. Actually there were two complete legs that were quite old. I don't know anything about the seller as this was an estate sale but I wonder...perhaps a WWII vet or someone that just collected these for whatever reason, who knows. The buyer got a laugh out of it but it freaked me out for a second.
You never know what you might find in an attic and this is right up there with the oddest things I've ever found.
