Thankful Thursday ~ I am Thankful for Gorgeous Fall Colors in Ohio!

It's another beautiful Fall day in Ohio, with sunny skies, frost on the ground this morning, and gorgeous Fall colors on the trees. I'm alive and healthy. I have a wonderful partner and a fabulous new rescue dog who enriches my life and astounds and amuses me every day.

That's a lot to be thankful for, but even more than that, I am thankful for a wonderful friend in Linda Haley, Reiki Master at The Reiki Center in Grandview and Community Affairs Director for the City of Groveport, Ohio. Linda invited me to exhibit my photographs at the Groveport Town Hall Art Gallery for the month of October, and I am reveling in the glow of my dream come true ~ exhibiting my photos in a public gallery.

Groveport is a cute small town on the Southeast side of Columbus, Ohio, and this Saturday is their Apple Butter Festival. If you go to their festival this Saturday, be sure to check out the Groveport Town Hall and see the Fall photos on display along with an assortment of other photos from my collection.

Thanks so much Gretchen. I do love this time of year! Glorious is a great word to describe it. Too bad those folks down south don't get to enjoy it like we do. I really missed the Fall colors when I lived in Texas.

Is that water pouring off the wall in the second one? Looks like it has been raining, of course, just can't tell if those are mini waterfalls.

Hi Than, It is water pouring off the wall in the second photo - I think they are mini falls, and it was raining when I took the picture. Thanks for stopping by to comment.

Thank You William! I'm delighted that you like the photos - and I did post a video of my exhibit on youtube http://youtu.be/tKMSpCuqVYU. Not the greatest video but at least an idea of what photos I exhibited. Funny that you mention Re/Max Times. I opened up my Remax Mainstreet link the other day, and lo and behold there was a photo of me at the Komen Race for the Cure - I guess they found it somewhere on the web. I do like the idea of submitting something to them, though. Thanks!
