Eastvale CA - 5k/10k and 1 mile run will be held this Saturday, October 13th, 2012.
This event is sponsored by ERHS Climate Boosters. All the proceeds will go toward our local Eastvale schools. The online registration is closed, however, you can still sign up tomorrow morning before the race. Participants can either run or walk the 5k or the 10k. The 1 mile will be the fun run for all entrees. This is a great event for the whole family.
This will be Eastvale CA fourth annual run/walk fun event. Check in starts at 6:30am, warm up at 7:30am and the race starts at 8:00am. All races will start at the entrance of Eleanor Roosevelt High School, located at 7447 Scholar Way. From there the race continues west toward Citrus St, then south on Cobble Creek St, and toward the River Walk Park, ending at the High School track field.
Finished Results will officially be timing the event. Last year there was a total of 750 participants. The youngest was a 4 year old girl who finished the 5000 meter at 35:40.0 and our most mature participant was a 70 years old gentleman who finished the 5000 meter race at 32:24.9
Remember that all the proceeds from the race will go toward EASTVALE schools. This is a great way for all of us to support our local schools. So come on out tomorrow and have a wonderful time with your family and neighbors.
