Holy-Chaos-Batman! Edmonton Home Staging Stays Home!
So life can get crazy, yes?
How much of it do we bring on ourselves?
Our neighbourhood has been going to get refurbished with new fancy street lights and sidewalks as well as our street paved, which it has needed badly for sometime.
No parking nearby, our driveway is on the street side, one of three in our cul de sac, the rest all have alley access to their garages.
While the heavy machinery is making the house shake rattle & roll, we had a contractor come in to put in baseboards on the main floor as well as patch drywall from previous electrical upgrades, etc and tile the back stairway and front foyer. It wasn't scheduled like that, it just happened that way...
Madness!
Everything piled in the center of each room, the cats can't go downstairs on the freshly laid tile, so the litter box is in the bathtub for a few days, everything is snugged up to the bed, so we have to crawl onto it like we're camping...
And the band has a gig during this and can't bring equipment out to vehicles on the driveway, because we can't park near the house! So we have to hump everything to the alley.
So; an opportunity arises.
Since everything is in the middle of the floor, why not paint the walls?
Why not? What else can we do to make it more chaotic?
That started 2 weeks ago:
We now are parking in the garage again, we can come in either door again, the litter box is (thankfully) back downstairs,
and the furniture is getting back into place! I still need to paint the front foyer and back stair way and entrance, but that won't be nearly as crazy...
The bedroom has had some editing and some new linens. Even Minnie approves!
Whew! Just in time for the snow!
Bring on Hallowe'en!
